Pratim D Gupta Takes A Jibe At PM Modi Over His Speech On Coronavirus Economic Package
Modi has announced a package of Rs 20 lakh crore which is nearly 10 per cent of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). He said that India stands on five pillars—economy, infrastructure, governing, vibrant economy and supply chain.
Love Aaj Kal Porshu director Pratim D Gupta took a jibe on Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his speech on economic package which he announced on Tuesday evening. The director has funny but still relevant question on the recent announcement made which nothing mentions on lockdown.
He took to his micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “Boris Johnson released a 50-page document on how to ease lockdown. Narendra Modi spoke close to 50 minutes without any mention of how to ease lockdown.”

He further tweeted, “Only person making money in this pandemic is the PM's speech writer. Especially if he's getting paid by the minute, not by the word.”

Congress party also dubbed these announcements as grabbing headlines as he missed to mention migrant workers in his speech.
Recently, at least 16 migrant workers were killed after a cargo train ran over them in Aurangabad city of Maharashtra. As reported the workers were sleeping on the railway track when the incident occurred.
After the outbreak coronavirus, migrant workers are walking back to their hometown as everything is closed. They are walking miles and hours just to reach their home. Government has started special trains to ferry them back to their homes.
